Simple Start ($30/mo) covers solo operators with one bank account. Essentials ($60/mo) adds bill pay and 3 users. Plus ($90/mo) adds project profitability, the right call if you bid jobs. Most HBH contractor clients land on Essentials.

What if I already use something else?+
If you're on Xero, Wave, or a desktop QuickBooks file, we can usually migrate the chart of accounts and historical data in a few hours. Schedule a call from the Horizon site and we'll scope the lift.
Do I need bookkeeping software at all?+
If you're under $50k/yr revenue with no employees and no inventory, a spreadsheet is fine. Above that, yes. The IRS expects clean records, and a $90/mo subscription saves you 10x that at tax time and avoids the penalties that come from miscategorized expenses.
